One of the biggest things about working on watches is finding the correct parts. Here I’m working on a ETA 1080 movement in a UWECO GENEVE watch probably from the 1950s or 60s. Besides being so gummed up it would not run it also needs a new stem. You can see the old stem is almost rusted into pieces. I have it all cleaned and ready to assemble back together as soon as the new stem arrives.
