Saturday, September 8, 2012 – I botted up my computer this morning and my Nvidia Quadro 4000 video card was having serious problems. As you can see by the video below it would not even boot up to windows 7.
I had an ATI graphics card which I replaced when I bought this new Nvidia Quadro 4000. I removed the Nvidia Quadro 4000 replaced it with the old ATI graphics card and my computer booted up with no problems.
I took the ATI card out and put the Nvidia Quadro 4000 back in and attempted to boot up and had the same problems as you see in the video above. This Nvidia Quadro 4000 card is less than a year old I bought it in B&H photo, their customer service is not open today, but I will try them tomorrow to see if they can help me out or if I have to go to the manufacturer directly.
The Nvidia Quadro 4000 video card from PNY supposedly has a three year warranty.
I will Log my adventure here. MTC
Sunday, September 9 – I contacted B&H Photo via their chat support and they only offer 30 day returns so I was told I will have to go to the manufacture – which is PNY in my case.
I went to the pny website and filled out an RMA request. I am now waiting on a response.
